{"id":61,"date":"2006-10-02T22:42:10","date_gmt":"2006-10-02T11:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.butterflyrocket.com\/?p=61"},"modified":"2006-10-02T22:54:31","modified_gmt":"2006-10-02T11:54:31","slug":"thrift-challenge-update-%e2%80%94-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/butterflyrocket.com\/blog\/?p=61","title":{"rendered":"Thrift Challenge Update \u2014 Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" title=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" src=\"http:\/\/www.butterflyrocket.com\/BR_IMAGES\/October06\/thrifty_butterflyrocket_9.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I found these cups (?) in my local op-shop on the last day of September and I think they&#8217;re my favourite find this month (<em>besides the &#8216;Weldon&#8217;s Fancy Dress&#8217; magazine of course!<\/em>).<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" title=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" src=\"http:\/\/www.butterflyrocket.com\/BR_IMAGES\/October06\/thrifty_butterflyrocket_7.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"left\" alt=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" title=\"Thrift Challenge Sept06\" src=\"http:\/\/www.butterflyrocket.com\/BR_IMAGES\/October06\/thrifty_butterflyrocket_6.jpg\" \/><strong><em>Discovered last week:<\/em><\/strong> Board game &#8216;Crosshand Poker&#8217; with tiles like scrabble, owl motif pottery cups <em>(can&#8217;t read the markings underneath)<\/em>, vintage tin coffee canister, small dish with delicate green edges <em>(marked Pareek, Johnson Bros, England)<\/em>, 1970&#8217;s pewter figures, porcelain orange owl<em> (candle holder\/cover missing base?)<\/em>, kitchen canister with butterfly and flower motif. Also a nice little button haul. Not as good as <a title=\"Thrifted buttons\" href=\"http:\/\/www.butterflyrocket.com\/?p=48\">these<\/a>, but a nice addition!<\/p>\n<p>So that&#8217;s it for my month! I must say Selena&#8217;s <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"$99 Thrift Challenge\" href=\"http:\/\/apronthriftgirl.typepad.com\/apron_thrift_girl\/2006\/10\/time_to_cast_yo.html\">$99 dollar Thrift Challenge<\/a> was a wonderful excuse to go op-shopping!
